Accurately collect patient specimens with urgency and collaborate with nursing and laboratory staff. Assist in training new team members and perform necessary clerical duties.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a formal phlebotomy training program. Preferred candidates have a phlebotomy certification and at least one year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
Accurately collects specimens from patients with the appropriate sense of urgency, communicates effectively with nursing staff, collaborates with laboratory staff and leadership, assists in training new team members, performs clerical and miscellaneous duties as needed.
