Provides direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, maintaining hygiene, and assisting with mobility under professional supervision. Acts as a liaison between patients and nurses while ensuring accurate documentation and conducting safety checks.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. BLS certification is required prior to patient care, and various certifications like STNA, CNA, or SWA are preferred.
