How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform high-quality diagnostic EKGs by accurately placing and operating equipment to ensure precise data collection for vital cardiac assessments. Prepare and support patients by thoroughly reviewing their records and clearly explaining the procedure to ease anxiety and ensure comfort. Monitor patient well-being during testing, actively identifying and correcting technical artifacts while immediately reporting abnormal findings to safeguard patient health. Streamline clinical workflows by efficiently editing and forwarding test results to attending physicians, enabling swift and accurate medical interpretation.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking Previous direct patient care experience. Prior ECG, telemetry monitoring, or monitor technician (MT) experience. Highly detail-oriented with strong computer and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
