The Opportunity

As a Field Nurse (RN) with Executive Home Care, you'll be vital to our patients' well-being, providing comprehensive nursing care and support in the comfort of their homes. This role offers professional independence, direct patient impact, and the satisfaction of building meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Patient Assessment

  • Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, mental, and emotional health, identify needs, and develop individualized care plans.

  • Management: Assist with medication administration and ensure proper adherence to prescribed regimens.

  • Assistance: Oversee and provide guidance on activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, to ensure patient comfort and dignity.

  • Monitoring: Regularly monitor and assess vital signs, reporting any significant changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience as an RN, with at least 3 years in home care, long-term care, or a similar community-based setting.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS required).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant technology.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to adapt to various home environments and patient situations.

Requirements

Requires a valid New Jersey RN license, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, and at least 3 years of clinical experience in home or long-term care. Must possess current BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
