Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff. Participate in care planning and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident care areas. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Assist with training and mentoring new staff members as needed.
Valid Certified Medical Technician (CMT) license in the state of Missouri. Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in healthcare is a plus.
