Market context

Florida demand for surgical first assistants

Certified Surgical First Assistant roles in Florida are typically tied to hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and specialty surgical teams that need experienced perioperative support. Competition is often strongest for candidates who already hold CSFA certification, have 1 to 2 years as a certified surgical technologist, and maintain AHA BLS, since employers want staff ready for the OR with minimal onboarding. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm the accredited program and certification details before applying.
