Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans as prescribed Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional training Administer physical agents such as heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation (per state regulations) Observe, document, and report patient responses and progress to the Physical Therapist Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and proper body mechanics Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment Comply with all facility policies, professional standards, and state practice acts
Qualifications: for Physical Therapist :
Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts. Previous experience in home health or outpatient physical therapy preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
