Location: Wyndmoor, PA Role: Inpatient hospice unit (CNA or HHA) 🧡 What You’ll Do Provide companionship and emotional support Provide direct patient care, including assistance with: Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Toileting and incontinence care Oral care, skin care, and repositioning Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility Support patient comfort through non-medical interventions (e.g., positioning, linen changes, environmental adjustments) Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment Assist with meal setup and feeding, as appropriate Provide emotional support to patients and families with compassion and respect Follow infection control, safety, and hospice care protocols Document care provided according to facility guidelines Previous experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare-related role is preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards client care. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive end-of-life situations Strong observation and reporting skills Team-oriented mindset Physical ability to assist with lifting, turning, and transferring patients Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment.
