About the role

Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals to enhance the independence and functional skills of adults with Autism and developmental disabilities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide direct therapy and train classroom staff on effective strategies.

Physical Therapist – Part-Time May Institute, Raynham, MA

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities. As a Part-Time Physical Therapist in our Adult Service Day Habilitation Center, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team to enhance adults independence and functional skills through targeted therapy and innovative interventions.

Your Role

Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals to support individuals progress.

Design and implement functional activities that address individuals’ occupational therapy needs.

Provide consultation and training to classroom staff, ensuring effective strategies are used daily.

Offer direct therapy services when needed, applying evidence-based techniques.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Program Directors, Physical Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists.

Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy Valid and current license as an PT in Massachusetts Demonstrated commitment to student progress Ability to multi-task and take initiative of multi-tasking Finds enjoyment working with a multi-disciplinary team Why Join Us?

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an approved physical therapy program and hold a valid Massachusetts PT license. Requires a commitment to student progress and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
