Market context
In Virginia, endoscopy technician openings are often tied to outpatient GI and hospital procedural services, where steady patient volume can keep demand consistent. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for BLS certification, a high school diploma, and prior GI or medical assisting experience, while benefits such as health, dental, PTO, and supplemental insurance can help distinguish offers. If you are applying, confirm whether your GI experience and certification status match the posting, and review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time compared with reading the full original description.
