Job Summary Mass General Brigham is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Per Diem Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Rowley, MA. In this role, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering accurate imaging services in accordance with established clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and quality guidelines. Essential Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate mammography and related imaging equipment safely and effectively. Position patients appropriately and utilize immobilization techniques when necessary to obtain optimal images. Select appropriate technical factors to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. Evaluate images for technical and diagnostic quality and obtain additional views as needed. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies following infection control and aseptic practices. Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort while delivering compassionate care. Accurately document patient information and examination details in the electronic medical record and imaging systems. Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
