• Our Resident Assistants play a vital role in helping residents live with dignity, comfort, and independence. --- Job Summary As a Resident Assistant (RA) at American House, you will play a critical role supporting seniors, enriching their lives, and helping them live their best life.
• The meaningful relationships you develop will help you support the daily care needs of the residents and support community activities while creating a safe, warm and welcoming environment.--- What You’ll Do · Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. · Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to leadership. · Encourage resident engagement in activities, programs, and social events. · Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas. · Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping. · Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members. · Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community. ---

Qualifications

· A passion for serving seniors and a compassionate, patient approach. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. · Previous caregiving, senior living, or healthcare experience required. · Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care. ---
