What will you do as a PMC Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technologist (MLT/MT)
Pinehurst Medical Clinic is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join our team. This position plays a key role in patient care working with our providers in providing the best in patient care by performing all laboratory tests run in-house in the Pinehurst Medical Clinic Laboratory. This is a part-time day shift position, 20 hours per week and does not require weekend or holiday hours
A day in the life of a PMC Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technologist (MLT/MT) will include:
Responsible for the performance of in-house laboratory tests which may include the collection of specimens.
Maintains positive specimen identification throughout the laboratory testing and reporting process.
Prepares reagents, solutions, and stains.
Recognizes abnormal lab values. Follow protocol for rechecking, accepting, and calling results to the physician or designated clinical person.
Assists the Lab Manager in maintaining supplies and in ordering supplies.
Maintains appropriate records (QC, specimen, instrument maintenance, etc.) as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience performing moderate and high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
Day Shift (Monday-Friday) No weekends or holidays
Requires an Associate of Science Degree and certification as an MLT from an accredited agency. Previous experience with moderate and high-complexity clinical testing is preferred.
