Provide high-quality primary medical care to patients aged 2 and up at Duke Community Micro clinics. Responsibilities include managing chronic diseases, acute care, and interpreting lab and imaging results for underserved populations.
Must be a graduate of an accredited PA or FNP program with a valid NC license and national board certification. A minimum of 2 years of primary care experience is required, along with BLS certification.
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing high quality primary medical care at the Duke Community Micro clinics under the supervision/in collaboration with the supervising physician within the scope of authority granted by the NC Board of Medical Directors. Providers see all age groups and provide comprehensive care to patients ages 2 and up including preventative care, chronic disease management and acute care. Duties include ordering, interpreting and communicating lab and imaging results. Clinics serve a patient population that is historically marginalized, underserved, un - or underinsured, and frequently non-English speaking, and work collaboratively with Lincoln Community Health Center (local FQHC). Spanish language proficiency preferred.
Education Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or family nurse practitioner program.
