Contract Details Nights, 7p-7a including every other wknd Start Date: 7/27/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Newport, VT 05855 Hourly Pay: $ 34.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $2164.00 EMR Used: Cerner Holiday Coverage Required: Yes Hospital has two positions available for PCU/MedSurg/Tele nurse, night shift.
Includes every other weekend rotation.
Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties.
This position also requires floating to other units (ED, MCH), if there is a need.
Key Responsibilities: Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness Immediately stabilize incoming patients Administer medication as instructed by physicians Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones Perform tracheotomies and intubations Give patients stitches and sutures Create and maintain incoming patient records Work with team of emergency staff to help patients Help transfer stable patients to other wings Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer
