Overview Per Diem Pediatrix Hospitalist Opportunity Winchester, VA

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for per diem coverage at Winchester Medical Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, family-centered care in a well-supported community hospital setting, while also engaging in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration. Position Highlights Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries Pediatric Floor ADC: 5 Newborn Nursery ADC: 15 Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel - block scheduling available Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through: University of Virginia INOVA Children’s National Work alongside a team where Pediatrix also providers NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care Program start: November 2026

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatrics with recent experience. An active Virginia medical license is required.
