The Physical Therapist performs patient assessments and implements individualized treatment programs for pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They coordinate care with families and healthcare teams while supervising Physical Therapist Assistants.
Requires a degree from an approved Physical Therapy school, with either a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or a Master's/Doctorate degree. Must be licensed to practice in Virginia and obtain AHA BLS certification within six months.
Effective interpersonal, communication, customer service and teamwork skills required. BLS-certified (from a Carilion approved program) within six months of employment.
