The Surgical Technologist assists providers during operative and invasive procedures in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC), while maintaining a sterile surgical environment throughout each procedure.

Able to prepare the operating room and manage necessary instruments and supplies during procedures in a timely manner in a high-volume environment.

Willing to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands of providers and the medical team, including basics of sterile processing.

Able to identify physical symptoms and take appropriate action when needed with a sense of urgency.

Understand the flow of the operating room and be able to provide efficient support to providers with instruments and medications during the surgical procedure.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ year of experience in surgical setting
• Current BLS Certification
