About the role

The Medical Scribe accompanies providers into examination rooms to document patient encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions. They are also responsible for transcribing patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology, and medications.

  • Schedule: Part Time | Days How you'll make an impact in this role Accompany provider into the patient examination room to document the provider's encounter with the patient. List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as indicated by the provider. Transcribe patient orders including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications. Document procedures performed by the provider. What minimum qualifications you'll need

  • Registration: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse preferred. Medical Assistant preferred.

Education

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
