The pharmacist is responsible for verifying and distributing medication orders while ensuring therapy is safe, efficacious, and cost-effective. They also conduct medication utilization reports and collaborate on process improvements to enhance pharmacy services.
A pharmacy school degree and a state pharmacist license are required, with a PharmD and inpatient clinical experience preferred. Candidates must also comply with mandatory vaccination requirements for employment.

Verify and fills orders for medications, monitors patient medication therapies, provide drug information, identifies and troubleshoots potential medication safety hazards, documents all interactions for medical review, and supervises and directs support personnel.
