  • Schedule: Days | PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver high-quality diagnostic images as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by performing complex therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for physician interpretation. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and provide direct patient care while strictly adhering to established safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through precise positioning and accurate selection of technical anatomic factors. Coordinate clinical documentation and image transfers within the EHR and PACS to ensure accuracy in patient history and data. Maintain specialized imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety throughout the Nuclear Medicine Technologist workflow. What minimum qualifications you'll need
  • Licensure /
  • Certification /
  • Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) also accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy and be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. One year of inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred.
