How you'll make an impact in this role Perform pediatric echocardiography procedures as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, delivering accurate diagnostic imaging to support timely cardiac patient care decisions. Assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics using advanced sonography equipment, ensuring high-quality images and precise interpretation for the interdisciplinary team. Implement imaging safety standards and quality improvement protocols, promoting patient safety and consistent excellence in direct patient care. Collaborate with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, optimize diagnostic workflows, and enhance outcomes for pediatric patients. Support regulatory compliance by adhering to established echocardiography protocols, maintaining equipment performance, and ensuring readiness for audits and accreditation standards. What minimum qualifications you'll need
  • Licensure /
  • Certification /
  • Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required: Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Adult Echo credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Advanced Pediatric Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) or Fetal Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) also accepted. Medical Sonographer specializing in Fetal Echocardiography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI ACS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS) also accepted.

Education
