Develop and administer physical therapy programs and treatments for a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient populations. Provide essential patient and family education while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams.
Requires a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy school and a valid Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy license. Must hold American Heart Association BLS certification, with two years of clinical experience preferred.
Develops and administers physical therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy. Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED Two (2) years of licensed clinical experience Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 8AM-4:30PM Weekend Requirements: Yes
