Responsibilities

Performs history and physical examinations and carries out appropriate intervention/procedures as determined by the plan of care. Coordinates care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital established Standards of Care.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED: BSN degree Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Six (6) months of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) at Northside. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 7A-7P Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis On-Call Requirements: No
