  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm What You Will Do Deliver compassionate patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, actively contributing to patient assessments to ensure their ongoing safety, comfort, and well-being. Administer medications and treatments safely, while closely monitoring patients for any adverse reactions to ensure the highest standards of clinical safety. Triage and coordinate patient care by utilizing the nursing process to facilitate swift interventions, delegate routine clinic tasks, and collaborate with non-medical staff to optimize patient flow and satisfaction. Document patient care journeys accurately and in real-time, ensuring thorough records, reporting critical abnormal data immediately, and managing patient referrals to guarantee continuity of care. Educate patients and families on their specific disease treatment plans, holistic health needs, and post-discharge self-care to empower them in their recovery journey.

  • Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Drivers License preferred.

Education

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Requirements
