Full-time, 4 days per week (Mon-Thu), 37.5 hours per week position.
Salary Range: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
Experience in a dental office and/or dental assistance experience is preferred.
Provide a range of clinical, administrative and staff-support functions.
Provide chair-side assistance to the Dental Director and Dental Hygienist in the delivery of dental procedures.
Organize, sterilize, date and prepare dental equipment according to standard procedures.
Monitor and maintain dental equipment (including but not limited to compressors, radiographic developers, sterilizers and curing lights.) Order and maintain inventory of dental clinic supplies.
Maintain clean, organized and stocked operatory, laboratory, and reception area of dental clinic.
Be able to travel as required on a quarterly basis to other communities including to and from Seldovia by small airplane and sometimes by boat when airplanes are on weather hold.
