Requires BLS certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT/Maryland Board) or Medical Sonographer (ARDMS/CCI). Education requirements include a high school diploma with 2 years experience, an associate degree, or 4 years of specific job experience.
$42.44 - $59.14 per hour Sign-On Bonus: Up to $7,500 What You Will Do Execute high-quality diagnostic imaging by accurately positioning patients and calibrating technical parameters to ensure physicians have the clear, precise views needed for life-saving diagnoses. Lead clinical safety initiatives by strictly implementing radiation protection standards, ensuring a secure environment for both patients and the healthcare team. Support advanced medical interventions by partnering directly with physicians during special procedures, providing the technical expertise required for complex patient treatments. Manage the digital care record by ensuring the seamless and accurate transfer of high-quality images and data to the PACS system, allowing for immediate and error-free clinical review. Maintain a pristine healing environment by overseeing the readiness and safety of procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring the department is always prepared for the next patient in need. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted. General Radiography certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Tehcnologists (ARRT) also required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Boardof Physicians required. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
