Essentia Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support our Family Practice team across multiple clinics within the Twin Ports area. This position is focused on in-basket management, patient communication, direct patient care tasks, clinical support for providers and care teams in the ambulatory setting.
This position works Monday through Friday with no holidays or weekends and has the potential for a hybrid work arrangement depending on department needs and qualifications.
Education Qualifications: See licensure/certifications Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Certification/Licensure Requirements: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e.
Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months. (Department 46680 – Registry Management Team: BCLS certification is not required) This role is an Inbasket Management Position.
There will be travel expected for this position.
There is a potential flexibility for a hybrid setting.
