Provides direct nursing care to patients at the Mays Cancer Center, assisting physicians during treatments and examinations. Operates with independence under limited supervision to coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team.
Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active Texas RN license, and active CPR/BLS certifications. Candidates must have at least three years of professional nursing experience.
The MCC Clinical Registered Nurse—Intermediate provides direct nursing care to patients at the Mays Cancer Center. The nurse demonstrates independence when preparing equipment and aiding physicians during patient treatment and examination. The nurse works under the limited supervision of the department leadership.
