Ultrasound Technician
The Ultrasound Tech plays a critical role in patient care by performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians. This position requires a commitment to patient comfort and safety, and maintaining high-quality and compliance standards in imaging practices.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Diagnostic
- Procedures: Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures on patients, including preparing them for exams, positioning them appropriately, selecting the correct imaging techniques, and ensuring image quality.

- Management: Enter and accurately monitor patient data within the electronic medical record system.

- Assurance: Conduct regular quality-assurance checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
Certifications: ARDMS certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
