Perform professional CT scans and invasive procedures, including IV insertion and contrast media administration, under the direction of a radiologist. Responsible for operating complex electronic equipment and explaining procedures to patients for disease diagnosis.
The CT Technologist, under the direction of the radiologist, DI Administration and/or Lead CT Technologist, performs professional duties which involve a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for CT scans. The CT Technologist assist physicians in selection of practical application and technical factors.

Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of CT exams related to the field, including invasive procedures and IV insertion.
Explain the procedure to the patient.
Set, adjust, manipulate, control and maintain a variety of complex electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation to patients for diagnosis of disease.
Administer prescribed contrast media according to established guidelines.
Assist in interventional CT exams.
