The compassionate Dermatology team at Cleveland Clinic is here to make patients as comfortable in their skin as possible.
This RN position will specifically be working in the MOHS department of our Independence Family Health Center.
MOHS surgery is a precise, outpatient procedure to remove high-risk skin cancer while preserving healthy tissue.
The process of microscopic examination and layer-by-layer excision allows for complete tumor removal and high cure rates.

00am to 4:30pm with occasional rotating evenings until 7:30pm.
Occasional rotating
Saturdays occur from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
Administer medications and treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
