The Medical Telemetry Observation Unit 6KLM is a 28 bed Unit.
Most patients are admitted from the Emergency Department making it a great learning experience for new graduates and newly licensed nurses.
You will care for a very diverse population with multiple diagnoses, with an average patient length of stay of 2 days.
6KLM routinely cares for patients with chronic pulmonary diseases, pneumonia, wounds, various gastrointestinal issues, congestive heart failure, and see a great variety of procedures and medication drips.

This is a great unit to start your nursing career and gain experience as you develop your nursing process and practice.
