  • Percentage: Up to 10%The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a LPN to join our Residential Nursing team. The LPN performs nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of clients, including giving prescribed medications and treatments according to approved policy and procedures.

  • What you'll do: Provide documentation in accordance with standards of practice and established policies and procedures of the Ranch and accrediting and regulatory standards. Deliver newly ordered medication to appropriate program site and documents in respective medical log book. Evaluate client and check vital signs. Ensure that evaluation, observation, and documentation for utilization of restraints are in accordance with clinical administrative standards. Review laboratory and related psychiatric and medical health assessments as clinically indicated. Assist in the health screening of youth by initiating the health screening examination when necessary, establishing screening and medical profile as needed, ensuring required immunizations are current and documented. Takes off physicians’ orders and orders medications in accordance with prescriptions. Aid in scheduling medical appointments in accordance with physicians’ orders. Effectively educate staff regarding treatment plans and medical conditions pertaining to clients. Transport clients, as necessary.

  • QualificationsWho you are: You have a high school diploma and LPN program certification. You have one year of nursing experience. You have an LPN license in the state of Ohio. You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. Requirements
