The Health and Wellness team at IRC, work to connect recently displaced refugees and immigrants to essential medical care and health education resources, helping them navigate the complexities of the U.S. healthcare system. By joining our team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to empower vulnerable populations as they rebuild their lives. As a Health and Wellness Team Intern, you will work closely with our Health Program Coordinator, refugee clients, and local healthcare providers to address the healthcare and preventative health needs of our clients.
This is an in-person role. This position will report to the Health and Wellness Supervisor.
The internship will be filled on a rolling basis. We will continue to accept applications until August 14th, 2026, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. Internship will begin the week of September 8th, 2026.
