Provides direct patient care and support to multidisciplinary health team working within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Serves as a clinical expert through patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consultation, while maintaining program excellence and professional growth.
Responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, coordinating patient care, delivering ongoing treatment while fostering a strong patient-provider relationship.

Required: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: Experience as a NP providing care in an acute or ambulatory setting in assigned area of specialty; Minimum one (1) year of experience with acute stroke and other neurovascular emergencies if assigned to Inpatient Specialty Programs (CC7055)

Meets Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) standards as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws, adhering to all NP Standardized Procedures, policies, and protocols relevant to Eisenhower Health. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice and active CA licensure as an RN and NP. Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, along with a DEA certificate and NPI.
