As an ER & ICU Technician, you will play a vital role in providing life-saving care to pets. Your duties include: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to all hospitalized and emergency patients. Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures. Perform key technical tasks including restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, lab work, and medication administration. Accurately prepare and administer treatments per veterinary orders and hospital protocols. Collaborate across departments to ensure coordinated, top-level patient care. Respond swiftly to STAT calls and follow emergency care protocols. Create treatment estimates, review plans with clients, process payments, and manage admissions/discharges. Communicate with clients professionally, offering empathy and clear information. Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development. Support hospital cleanliness, safety, and inventory management. Perform anesthesia and sedation following established protocols. Assist in Surgery as required for overnight emergencies Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with additional duties as needed.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians or Experienced Veterinary Technicians with at least 2-3 year of ER, ICU, SURGERY & ANESTHESIA experience. Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is required: No less than 2-3 years at a Spec-ER or Multidisciplinary Hospital will be considered Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent and professional communication skills with all types of clients The ability to thrive under pressure, multitask effortlessly, and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations. A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being. Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
