This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour work week. We strive to provide consistent, long-term client assignments whenever possible while matching caregivers with clients based on location, experience, availability, and care needs.

Schedules may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, including 8-hour and 12-hour assignments.

  • Essential Responsibilities Direct Client Care Provide compassionate, one-on-one care in accordance with the client's individualized Plan of Care.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, feeding, and mobility.
  • Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and range of motion.
  • Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional needs.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Promote client dignity, independence, privacy, and quality of life.
  • Observe and promptly report changes in client condition.

Delegated Care When appropriately trained and delegated by a Registered Nurse, responsibilities may include: Medication administration or assistance Vital signs and blood glucose monitoring Skin care Bowel and bladder care Feeding tube-related tasks Other delegated nursing tasks within training and competency requirements

  • Documentation, Safety & Communication Follow each client's individualized Plan of Care.
  • Complete Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, nurses, and agency staff.
  • Promptly report changes in condition, safety concerns, and unmet client needs.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Participate in required education and competency assessments.

Qualifications

Required Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) credential Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to complete required certification Compassionate, dependable, and client-centered approach to care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation to and from assigned client locations Ability to successfully complete required background and credential verification requirements

Preferred Previous caregiving or community-based care experience Nurse Delegation certification Experience supporting clients with dementia, Parkinson's disease, developmental disabilities, hospice or end-of-life needs, or other complex care needs

Requirements

Must be a high school graduate with a valid CNA or HCA license for Washington State and be in good standing with the DSHS Background Check System. Requires the physical ability to lift 50 lbs and reliable transportation to job sites.
