Physical Therapist Position Brief An outpatient orthopedic clinic in Greenwood, MO is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to provide care for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The Physical Therapist in this role will support patients through evaluation, treatment planning, therapy sessions, progress monitoring, education, and discharge planning. The work is focused on helping patients improve movement, build strength, increase independence, and return to daily activities with better physical function. Employment Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic EMR: WebPT Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Compensation New Graduate PT: $65,000–$70,000 per year Experienced PT: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience Schedule Preferences The clinic would strongly prefer one of these schedules: Preferred Schedule: Four 10-Hour Days Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Tuesday off each week Alternative Schedule: Monday–Friday Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Clinic Information Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants Documentation System: WebPT Insurance Accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna Position Highlights Full-Time Physical Therapist position Competitive salary based on experience New graduates encouraged to apply Collaborative clinical team Outpatient orthopedic environment Professional growth and development opportunities

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and assess pain, mobility, strength, balance, range of motion, and functional needs Develop individualized plans of care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Deliver skilled therapy services using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, mobility work, and functional rehabilitation Provide patient education related to home exercise programs and activity modification Track progress and update care plans as needed Complete timely documentation in WebPT Partner with PTAs to support treatment plan consistency Maintain professional communication with patients, providers, and team members Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure New graduates are encouraged to apply Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills Ability to work with patients across a broad age range Insurance Plans Accepted The clinic serves patients covered by: Blue Cross Blue Shield UnitedHealthcare Medicare TRICARE Humana Aetna Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K plan with Company Match 3 weeks PTO 8 Paid US Holidays CEU Allowance Sign-On Bonus Available Bring your Physical Therapy training to a role where schedule flexibility, team collaboration, and patient progress are built into the clinical setting.
