Job Details

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Utilizes proper body mechanics. Moving, positioning and transferring patients without assistance or with assistance when needed for patient safety. Performs routine diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures: This includes, but not limited to: abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, and small parts including breast, thyroid, testicular. Doppler Studies of Carotid, Abdomen, Pelvis, Small Parts, and Peripheral vascular exams. Assist in breast biopsy procedures. May include OR procedures. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness. Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team in person and via telephone.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school. Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARDMS or eligible within 6 months of employment is required. Echo experience highly preferred

Salary Range

Usd $46.69 - Usd $61.15 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
