Provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient ENT setting, including rooming patients and documenting in electronic medical records. Manages patient flow and assists providers with procedures to ensure patient-centered care.
A Brief Overview The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting.
This role includes but not limited to rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the electronic medical record, assisting with procedures, supporting providers, and promoting efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered care.
What You Will Do Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow.
Assist with front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation.
Performs basic patient centered care as delegated by provider Provides a safe environment for patients Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

Education Completion of a Medical Assistant Program (Required) and High School Equivalent / GED (Required) Work Experience less than 1 year clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds.
