Must have a good knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology.
He/she provides care/service that meets the development needs of patients ranging in age from adult to geriatric.
The Vascular Technologist complies with standards of practice; assists with patient care activities; helps maintain supplies and equipment; and collaborates with other healthcare team members in response to patient and family needs.
Required to take call in order to contribute to the coverage of Emergent Vascular procedures that occur during off-hours.
The number of call shifts required per week will be determined by the Manager and will be based on department needs.
Needs good communication and interpersonal skills.
This position will care for patients in the adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
