Market context

Illinois postdoc research roles stay selective

In Illinois, postdoc research fellow roles in medicine and biology are typically driven by active university and medical research programs, so demand often follows grant-funded projects and lab openings. This role is competitive because it requires a doctorate, three years of genetic epidemiology experience, and strong background in urology or immunology plus animal models.
