What you will do Identifies and documents cardiac rhythms.
Provides patient/family education.
Performs electrode site care.
Assures proper functioning of all monitoring equipment and promotes cost effectiveness in the department through appropriate utilization of equipment and supplies.
Ongoing training and review of patient monitors.
Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.

Ability to read, write & understand verbal or written instructions. Ability to maintain level of professionalism in interactions. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and routine hospital operation. Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Supervision Provided by this Position There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position. Physical Demands Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
