About the role

The ER Attendant provides essential care and comfort to patients with urgent needs while assisting physicians and nurses in the Emergency Department. Additionally, the role involves performing clerical tasks using computer applications and helping with the training of new personnel.

Overview The ER Attendant performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the emergent and urgent needs and comfort of patients while assisting the RN and physician with functions in the Emergency Department. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. He/she performs other clerical duties using computer desktop applications. The ER Attendant participates in the orientation and training of personnel.

Qualifications
