Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team. This job is ideal for you if you are eager to learn, like to help people, not afraid of children, and is a team player. Experience in Medical Electronic health Systems, (Ecw preferred), Injections, simple lab testing,and taking vitals, is imperative. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high standard of care for our patients.
Perform vital sign assessments and accurately record patient information Take patient medical histories and document relevant details Administer vaccines and other medications as directed by the physician Update and maintain patient medical records in compliance with regulations Contact patients to provide test results and follow-up information Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare position Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
