The CPRS facilitates recovery-focused groups and activities to help individuals with mental illness or addiction build social skills and confidence. They assist clients in identifying personal strengths and articulating holistic goals for their recovery journey.
Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have lived experience with Mental Illness/ Substance Use Disorder. Minimum of one year of recovery. Must also be willing to share personal recovery story to assist others and be active in own recovery and model recovery in a positive way. Required Certification/Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Must acquire F-endorsement within 30 days of hire date (depending on location). CPRS Certification is required. Must be able to verify completion of state-approved training program. If not currently certified, must be certified within 90 days of hire unless otherwise approved by the supervisor
