We have an immediate need for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant.

We offer an exceptional working environment that is very teamwork-oriented, along with growth opportunities, mentorship, and a generous compensation package.Pay: $26-32/hour depending on experience PLUS productivity bonus, which can add up to $6.87/hr ON TOP of your base rate!Perks: up to $3000 sign on bonus and relocation assistanceSchedule: Flextime (flexibility may depend on current staffing) between 7am-7pm Monday-FridayCaseload/Productivity expectations: 12 visits per 8 hour day.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Waxahachie!

As a vital member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and support to patients on their journey to recovery.Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and evaluating patient progressPerform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional trainingEducate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home programsApply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulationMaintain accurate and detailed patient recordsEnsure a safe and clean treatment environmentCollaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomesParticipate in ongoing professional development and training opportunitiesContribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and colleaguesQualificationsGraduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent Texas state license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist AssistantStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiologyProficiency in exercise prescription and manual therapy techniquesExperience in sports rehabilitation preferredExcellent patient care and communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentPassion for physical therapy and genuine commitment to patient careOutgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitudeDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsFamiliarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipmentUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentialityFlexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plansGoal-oriented mindset with a determination to achieve professional objectivesEmpathetic approach to patient care and ability to motivate othersWillingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practicesAdditional InformationOur Physical Therapist Assistants Enjoy:Competitive Compensation Continuing education opportunities.Excellent benefits package including 401(k)!Health/Dental/RX Benefits.Paid Time Off, plus Major Holidays.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Get to interact with a great team, support staff, and so much more!

Requirements

Must be a graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program and hold a current Texas state license or be license eligible. Requires strong knowledge of kinesiology and proficiency in therapeutic modalities.
