Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with chronic GI conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nutrition counseling and longitudinal care via a telehealth platform.
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited dietetics program. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and successful completion of the national registration examination. Active, unrestricted dietitian license in at least one (1) U.S. state. Ability to maintain licensure and eligibility for credentialing as required by applicable state laws and organizational policies. Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team or demonstrated ability to coordinate care across multiple healthcare disciplines. Access to a professional, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer equipped with a functioning webcam and microphone capable of supporting telehealth visits and virtual collaboration. Comfort using telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and digital collaboration tools. Demonstrated empathy, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. Ability to successfully pass background, credentialing, and reference checks.
Experience caring for patients with chronic GI conditions, including IBS, IBD, GERD, Functional Dyspepsia, SIBO, and related disorders. Familiarity with evidence-based dietary interventions (e.g., elimination diets, low FODMAP approaches) and mind-gut therapies or behavioral interventions commonly used in the management of chronic GI conditions. Experience supporting patients with chronic disease management and behavior change. Telehealth experience. Experience working within a collaborative care model alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered dietitians, and behavioral health providers. Educational or professional background in population health, epidemiology, behavioral science, sociology, economics, public health, or related disciplines. Experience contributing to clinical protocols, care pathways, quality improvement initiatives, patient education programs, or provider training initiatives.
