Using excellent customer service and communication skills, your primary duties in this role include:

Enjoy a high degree of clinical autonomy while practicing within a collaborative and supportive Dermatology team.

Benefit from responsive physician support that empowers independent decision-making while ensuring access to expert guidance when needed and are readily available for consultation, mentorship, and case collaboration.

Manage a diverse mix of medical dermatology patients with the opportunity to develop procedural skills and clinical expertise.

Join a well-established practice with strong referral relationships, a robust patient panel, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Provides complete physical assessment including health history, periodic health assessments, health education and counseling to new and follow-up patients as deemed appropriate by the medical leadership of the group.

Orders and interprets routine diagnostic tests, establishes medical diagnosis and reviews and revises treatment and therapy plans as needed.

Plans appropriate therapeutic measures, including ability to prescribe medications as allowed by scope of practice and formulary.

Updating records as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Salary

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials

  • Physician
  • Associate: $131,474 - $197,212 per year.

Workdays

This role is located at the Broadway Medical Clinic in Northeast Portland. Typical hours are 36 per week, Monday-Friday, four 9-hour shifts with a weekday off TBD. No on-call or weekends.

Qualifications

  • that support success in this role are based on education, experience, and values including:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Associate program and current Oregon License.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional Dermatologic Surgical Physician Associate experience is required.
  • Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
  • Board certification required.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate work independently and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and team members.
  • Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree, completion of an accredited Physician Associate program, and a current Oregon License. Candidates must have at least two years of professional dermatologic surgical experience and board certification.
